In 1983 Immo Herbst started his company as a one-man operation. In 1985 he founded Immo Herbst GmbH, which is now the mother of the group. Various business areas (then profit centers) developed within it, which were gradually spun off into individual GmbHs from 1998.
Today, the company’s main task is administration (accounting and quotation, bookkeeping, correspondence, costing, advertising, EDP and provision of office and storage space as well as machines and equipment), personnel development and quality assurance. It sees itself as a service provider for the subsidiaries in order for them to concentrate on their core business.
In addition, Immo Herbst GmbH has its own repair workshop for the repair of equipment, machines and vehicles, a container service for the delivery and removal of building materials and bulk goods, as well as two warehouses in which all standard items are kept ready for the subsidiaries.
